In Corcieux itself and around Gérardmer you’ll easily find mountain bike / bicycle trails for all levels.

Or, for the more adventurous, you can dare to cross the Vosges mountains from north to south through forests, meadows and vineyards (on the Alsatian side), while sampling local specialities.

The first section to the north is a colorful affair as you pass through charming little Alsatian villages with half-timbered houses and vineyards… then gradually the slopes steepen to reach the first high point, “le belvédère du champ du feu”, then you follow the blue line of the Vosges through countless forest paths. You then reach the Grand ballon at 1424m. The last stage takes you to the Alsace vineyards via Thann, with one of the most beautiful descents in France, via narrow paths with a negative altitude difference of 1100m.
